Omani Society for Human Resource for Management (OSHRM)
The Omani Society for Human Resources Management (OSHRM) is a non-profit Organization that aims to
build Human Resources capability in the Sultanate of Oman. OSHRM was founded in May 2014, to provide
the tools, knowledge and standards for HR professionals to excel at their roles. The objective encompasses
the development of the skill sets of HR professional resources by benefiting from and building on their local expertise and knowledge.
The Vision of OSHRM is to be recognized as Oman’s leading HR Society and the collective voice of HR
professionals in Oman to support the development of Human Capital nationwide. The Society is managed by
elected Board Members, who combine HR and leadership skills and expertise representing large organizations
from a range of different industries.
OSHRM provides its members with an opportunity to gain benefits from business and HR leaders’ insights and
knowledge, to keep them at pace with the latest HR developments through a number of knowledge sharing sessions
in the form of conferences, workshops, symposiums sn other events. In addition to this, the society also publishes a Magazine and has initiated an annual award program and event for identifying and recognizing the work of professionals in the Human Resource space in the country

The Sultanate of Oman is a country in Southwest Asia, on the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders the United Arab Emirates in the northwest, Saudi Arabia in the west, and Yemen in the southwest. The coast is formed by the Arabian Sea in the south and east, and the Gulf of Oman in the northeast. Sultanate of Oman is progressing very rapidly with the vision and guidance of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said AlBusaidi the ruler of Sultanate Of Oman.
